Learners will engage in a curriculum that covers a breadth of topics related to the practice of anesthesiology across multiple subspecialties. Faculty development of clinician educators will also be incorporated. Learners will be able to apply this expanded knowledge to their clinical practice such that perioperative care at Westchester Medical Center is administered in a manner consistent with up-to-date guidelines and standards of practice. Discussion of adverse events during Morbidity and Mortality sessions will allow for the dissemination of important safety information as well as departmental protocols that will promote standardization of care, minimize errors, and ultimately improve outcomes for perioperative patients
