The goal of this program is to improve the management of ocular pathologies using anterior segment optical coherence tomography. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Differentiate between benign and malignant lesions of the conjunctiva and cornea.
2. Identify limitations of anterior segment optical coherence tomography in diagnosing ocular surface tumors.
3. Utilize anterior segment optical coherence tomography to develop treatment plans and monitor treatment progress.
4. Use optical coherence tomography to select patients who can safely undergo minimally invasive procedures.
5. Evaluate complex cases of corneal disease using optical coherence tomography.
