The goal of this program is to improve the management of pedi atric agitation and aggression, and safety of mental health profes sionals who experience stalking. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinicians will be able to: 1. Assess pediatric patients with agitation in the emergency setting. 2. Avoid excessive use of seclusion and restraints for agitated patients. 3. Utilize appropriate medications when indicated to manage pediatric agitation. 4. Prescribe antipsychotic medication for patients with early onset schizophrenia in a timely manner. 5. Differentiate the stalking behaviors of each type of stalker and how best to approach them.
