The goal of this program is to improve periprocedural use of anti thrombotic therapy (ATT), medical management of obesity, and surgical and endoscopic treatment of obesity. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Summarize guidelines for reversal and management of ATT after acute gastrointestinal bleed. 2. Outline risk stratification of elective procedures and periproce dural management of ATT. 3. Explain the results of the STEP 1 trial assessing efficacy of semaglutide. 4. Compare the effectiveness of tirzepatide and semaglutide based on evidence. 5. Compare sleeve gastrectomy with Roux-en-Y gastric bypass in the management of obesity.
