The goal of this program is to improve management of elbow, wrist, and hand joint issues, fractures of the clavicle, and acromioclavicu¬lar (AC) joint separation. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Choose the appropriate surgical treatment for elbow pain and lack of function, based on patient characteristics.
2. Identify appropriate candidates for wrist arthrodesis.
3. Select an optimal device for finger arthroplasty.
4. Recognize indications for surgical fixation and reconstruction of midclavicle fractures.
5. Determine whether a patient with AC joint separation can be managed nonoperatively.
