ASGE Annual GI Advanced Practice Provider Course - Day Two (ON-DEMAND)

ASGE Annual GI Advanced Practice Provider Course - Day Two (ON-DEMAND)

Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) are integral members of the gastroenterology clinical team in delivering high-quality and efficient care to patients. This two-day course provides education for GI APPs at all levels of practice and experience. Day one topics focus on onboarding and orientation for new APPs, basics of GI consultation and endoscopic practice and the principles of APP-MD collaborative practice. Day two explores more advanced concepts in GI endoscopy and case-based studies in pancreatic disease, dysphagia, Celiac disease, IBD, abnormal liver tests and GI imaging. This course is envisioned to become a critical resource for practices that want quality GI education for APPs, to create an effective APP/physician collaboration and successfully and smoothly integrate new APPs into their GI team. APPs, APP supervisors and physician leaders can attend the first day, second day or both days based on your and your practice’s needs.
