The goal of this program is to improve asthma management in children and health maintenance in children with inflammatory bowel disease. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Use diagnostic criteria and assessment tools suggested by the Global Initiative for Asthma and National Institute of Health guidelines. 2. Choose the optimal approach for managing asthma in various age groups. 3. Optimize use of Single Inhaler for Maintenance and Rescue Treatment (SMART) therapy in patients with mild-to-moderate asthma. 4. Ensure that patients with inflammatory bowel disease receive appropriate vaccinations. 5. Explain the safety of COVID-19 vaccines to patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
