The goal of this program is to improve management of -1 antitrypsin deficiency (AATD) and autoimmune hepatitis (AH), and management of hepatorenal syndrome with terlipressin. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Recognize manifestations of liver disease associated with AATD. 2. Select drugs for treatment of AATD. 3. Identify patient populations at increased risk for AH. 4. Use diagnostic testing to classify patients with acute kidney injury. 5. Anticipate adverse effects of therapy with terlipressin.
