The goal of this program is to improve patient-provider interactions in clinical practice related to benzodiazepines (BZDs) and trauma-informed difficult conversations. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinicians will be better able to:List the key principles of trauma-informed care.Differentiate trauma-informed care from trauma-specific care.Explain use of the “elicit-provide-elicit” strategy in trauma-informed discussions about management of BZD use.
