Bisphosphonates emerged as a novel treatment for bone metabolism disorders in the second half of the 20th century. Currently, they are widely used in the management of cancer-related bone disease and osteoporosis. This activity reviews some of the most significant complications related to bisphosphonate toxicity and highlights the role of the interprofessional team in evaluating and treating patients with this condition.
