The goal of this program is to improve screening for breast cancer (BC) and management of pregnancy with regard to hor mone function. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Pinpoint the ideal screening periodicity based on patient age and BC risk. 2. Analyze risk-based models for BC risk prediction. 3. Maximize reduction of population-attributable risk for BC. 4. Illustrate the roles of various hormones during pregnancy. 5. Incorporate updated guidelines regarding prevention of preterm birth into practice.
