The purpose of this recorded, knowledge-based, interactive educational program is to educate and train VA leaders, staff, and interdisciplinary/interprofessional healthcare teams on a variety of clinical and administrative topics related to Veteran care and employee wellness. These topics include infectious diseases and pandemics (e.g., COVID-19, Monkeypox), new issues impacting Veteran healthcare (e.g., implementation of legislation such as the PACT Act), innovations and updates across VA’s program offices and medical centers, and other emergent needs. This series provides a platform for these topics to be discussed with subject matter experts and key leaders in a collaborative fashion so that learners can address knowledge gaps as well as identify and share best practices.
