The goal of this program is to improve the management of chronic coronary disease (CCD) and the facilitation of advance care planning (ACP). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Recommend appropriate and effective lifestyle interventions for the management of CCD. 2. Prescribe guideline-directed management strategies and medical therapy for CCD. 3. Compare the risks and benefits of various pharmacologic interventions for CCD and other comorbidities. 4. Distinguish ACP from advance directives. 5. Prognosticate serious illnesses including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and heart failure.
