The goal of this program is to improve management of ophthalmic challenges including angle closure and visual snow, management of glaucoma through surgery and other treatments, and management of glaucoma through lifestyle choices. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Differentiate drug-induced angle closure from spontaneous angle closure.
2. Identify symptoms in patients with visual snow.
3. Optimize use of blood-pressure medications in patients with low nocturnal perfusion pressure.
4. List types of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and their efficacies.
5. Advise patients on sleep and other lifestyle choices in management of glaucoma.
