The goal of this program is to improve use of cell-based therapy and assessment of patients with obesity undergoing donor nephrectomy or kidney transplantation. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinicians will be better able to: 1. Illustrate the mechanisms behind various types of cellular therapies. 2. Optimize patient selection for cellular therapy based on cancer type. 3. Acknowledge potential adverse effects and complications associated with various types of cellular therapies. 4. Analyze the effects of obesity on kidney transplantation outcomes for donors and recipients. 5. Compare risks associated with living-donor vs deceased donor kidney transplantation.
