The goal of this program is to improve the ethics of assess ing competence and management of xylazine overdose and withdrawal. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinicians will be able to: 1. Evaluate the competence and capacity of persons for various situations that require decision making. 2. Assess the impact of landmark cases and court rulings on current ethical standards. 3. Comply with ethical standards that allow for patient auton omy to the greatest extent possible. 4. List myths associated with fentanyl and the facts that contradict them. 5. Treat a patient presenting with xylazine overdose
