This recorded, virtual knowledge-based training will provide interprofessional healthcare teams with knowledge on diagnostic criteria, research, and clinical practices associated with compulsive sexual behavior disorder. Increasing number of veterans are seeking help for non-paraphilic dysregulated sexual behavior that causes significant distress and disruption to their lives. The WHO has approved a new diagnosis, Compulsive Sexual Behavior Disorder (CSBD) to help providers understand symptoms. However, many providers are unaware of CSBD, the current landscape of research and empirically supported treatments for CSBD. This presentation will teach participants the diagnostic criteria for CSBD, educate them about the current research and discuss pragmatic treatments for CSBD. Providers will understand how to diagnose CSBD and learn about pragmatic treatments for CSBD.
