This presentation will discuss options for colon cancer screening, including pros/cons and reliability. Changes in the incidence and demographics of colon cancer will also be addressed, as well as treatment options. Learning Objectives: Learners will describe changes in the incidence of colon cancer. Learners will designate appropriate screening methods given a patient’s particular circumstances. Learners will formulate a comprehensive treatment and monitoring plan for each patient. Learners will develop increased rapport to engage the patient in the decision-making process during their treatment. Learners will demonstrate improved diagnosis of early-stage colon cancers to improve patient outcomes.
