The goal of this program is to improve management of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and use of remote monitoring for cardiovascular conditions. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Perform and refer patients for appropriate diagnostic testing for GERD and its mimics. 2. Optimize the use of proton pump inhibitors for patients with suspected or diagnosed GERD. 3. Perform a workup for patients with gastroesophageal symp-toms that do not respond to empiric proton pump inhibitor therapy. 4. Integrate remote monitoring into patient care workflows. 5. Use data from remote cardiac and glucose monitoring to develop strategies for patient management.
