COMMON MUSCULOSKELETAL CONDITIONS/BREAST CANCER SURVIVORSHIP

The goal of this program is to improve patient outcomes in musculoskeletal conditions commonly encountered in primary care, the treatment of breast cancer, and breast cancer survival. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Differentiate between signs and symptoms of common knee pain, knee osteoarthritis, and degenerative meniscal tears.
2. Recommend appropriate therapeutic strategies for gluteal tendinopathy.
3. Utilize routine mammography as a screening tool for breast cancer.
4. Compare the risks and benefits of adjuvant and neoadjuvant therapy in breast cancer.
5. Identify the risks associated with use of aromatase inhibitors in breast cancer.
