The goal of this program is to improve management of common urinary issues in elderly individuals. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Illustrate physiologic changes to the bladder which occur with aging. 2. Diagnose urinary issues common among elderly individuals. 3. Identify clinical risk factors associated with overactive bladder. 4. Evaluate the role of surgical interventions in the management of urinary incontinence. 5. Optimize medication management of overactive bladder.
