The University of Louisville Pneumonia Study reviewed the incidence and epidemiology of adults hospitalized with community acquired pneumonia. This presentation reviews the secondary analysis of immunocompromised patients in that study. The speaker defines inclusion criteria, demographics, and identified pathogens in the immunocompromised patients. The analysis compares length of stay, morbidity, mortality, and other clinical outcomes with immunocompetent patients.
