During Covid the incidence of alcohol-associated liver disease has increased. While much has been taught to learners about use of steroids, we find little focus on other modalities of treatment including alcohol cessation and malnutrition. There is significant concomitant malnutrition in patients diagnosed with alcohol-associated hepatitis and alcohol cessation has significant improvement in mortality.
