The goal of this program is to improve management of chronic cough (CC), shortness of breath (SOB), and interstitial lung disease (ILD). After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Differentiate between pulmonary and nonpulmonary causes of dyspnea and SOB.
2. Diagnose and treat causes of CC in adults and children.
3. Formulate the differential diagnosis for ILD.
4. Interpret results of pulmonary function testing in a patient with suspected ILD.
5. Develop a therapeutic approach for the management of ILD and related complications.
