Approximately 350 cases are diagnosed annually in the United States. Death occurs in nearly 70% of patients within a year. Prompt and accurate diagnosis of CJD impacts intervention strategies and overall outcomes. This activity for healthcare professionals is designed to enhance learners’ competence in recognizing and managing CJD.
