This e-learning course offers the critical care clinician a comprehensive review of critical care ultrasonography as defined by the American College of Chest Physicians/La Société de Réanimation de Langue Française Statement on Competence in Critical Care Ultrasonography (Chest. 2009;135:1050-1060). The course provides instruction in the cognitive aspects of critical care ultrasonography, image acquisition, and image interpretation using a blended format of didactic material, video-based case review, and real-time demonstration scanning.
