The goal of this program is to improve management of deprescription in older adults and COVID-19 in the outpatient setting. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Address the physician and patient barriers to deprescription in older adults.
2. Utilize an algorithm for deprescription in older adults.
3. Identify potentially inappropriate drugs for older adults.
4. Weigh the efficacy of each drug for outpatient therapy of mild-to-moderate COVID-19 symptoms.
5. Select appropriate medication for outpatient treatment of mild-to-moderate COVID-19 symptoms.
