DERMATOLOGY POTPOURRI/SHORT STATURE

The goal of this program is to improve management of common dermatologic conditions and management of syndromes associated with short stature. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinicians will be able to:
1. Use Candida immunotherapy to treat select dermatologic conditions.
2. Distinguish dermatologic conditions from one another by their characteristic lesions.
3. Predict height potential by assessing bone age.
4. Relate a patient’s growth velocity at specific stages of devel-opment to syndromes associated with short stature.
5. Differentiate short stature caused by nutritional deficiency from that caused by hormonal conditions.
