The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis and man agement of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in adults. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clini cians will be better able to: 1. Differentiate between the various types of ADHD seen in adults. 2. Utilize validated tools for the clinical diagnosis of ADHD. 3. Refer patients for neuropsychological testing when appro priate or necessary. 4. Select appropriate medications and dosing schedules for adults with ADHD and other comorbidities. 5. Treat patients with comorbid ADHD and psychiatric or substance use disorders.
