This course is designed to provide a solid foundation in the principles of lung cancer evaluation and staging with a focus on EBUS-TBNA. Learners will have opportunities to learn mediastinal anatomy, techniques of nodal biopsy, and the appropriate process of lung cancer staging. In addition, they will have exposure to advanced flexible broncoscopic skills, including foreign body removal and management of airway bleeding. This course is appropriate for any learner who wants initial exposure and education on the techniques of EBUS-TBNA or learners who have prior experience but wish to optimize their skills set.
