District Enhancing School Health & Mental Health Services through TEAMS

This cohort of the TEAMS Program is intended for school districts interested in expanding access to physical, mental, and behavioral health services in schools, improve the delivery of school health services, and/or enhance the management of mental and/or chronic health conditions in schools. Through the TEAMS Program, the AAP will provide training, resources, and technical assistance to school districts interested in strengthening their policies, practices, and infrastructure related to school-based health services and supports. The duration of this cohort will be September 2024 through May 2025. Each participating school district will assemble a 3-4 member team including: School District Health Services Partner (ex. lead nurse, health services director, etc.) Local/ County Health Department Partner Local Physician Partner (the AAP can help make this connection if/when needed) Optional: Mental Health Professional Partner All school districts are invited to apply to participate.
