This activity is an opportunity to develop, enhance and strengthen the skills of primary care providers to appropriately identify and treat behavior problems and comorbid ADHD in children to enhance patient care and support care integration.
It will focus on expanding behavioral health care for children by learning to deliver an evidence-based collaborative care practice for child behavior health concerns and comorbid ADHD. Doctor Office Collaborative Care (DOCC) is an evidence-based intervention that assists in symptom reduction, adjustment, caregiver stress, provider capacity/effectiveness, and healthcare cost savings for these two major disorders.
