Prescribe opioids in a manner that reduces the likelihood of risk for addiction and long-term opioid use. 3. Develop strategies for reducing the risk for overdose among adolescents and young persons. 4. Summarize state policies that help prevent pediatric firearm injuries. 5. Implement evidence-based strategies to reduce the risk for firearm injury in children and adolescents.
