The goal of this program is to improve the diagnosis and manage ment of dystonia and management of spinal dysraphism in chil dren and adults. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Classify dystonia as primary or secondary based on differ ences in pathophysiology. 2. Use appropriate ancillary testing methods in patients sus pected of having dystonia. 3. Recommend viable pharmacologic and interventional treat ment strategies for individuals with dystonia. 4. Assess for spinal dysraphism in children and adults. 5. Choose an appropriate treatment approach for spinal cord lipomas.
