Vague complaints can be the most frustrating for both the patient and physician. This session will start with a simple complaint of ear pressure or pain and review all possible etiologies associated with these complaints. We will present a cost-effective method for evaluation of these common complaints. Topics covered will include eustachian tube dysfunction, patulous eustachian tube, cochlear hydrops, migraine, bullous myringitis, TMJ syndrome, and otic neuralgia. The pathophysiology of these disorders will be reviewed and with disease-specific treatment discussed. Participants will be encouraged to actively contribute to the discussion through questions and their own case presentations.
