The goal of this program is to improve management of pediatric eating disorders, anxiety disorders, and syncope, dizziness, and autonomic dysfunction. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Identify children and adolescents at risk for developing an eating disorder.
2. Initiate outpatient-based nutritional rehabilitation in pediatric patients with eating disorders.
3. Discern among different types of anxiety disorders in children.
4. Prescribe pharmacologic and therapeutic interventions to treat anxiety in children.
5. Manage various causes of dizziness, syncope, and auto-nomic dysfunction in children.
