The goal of this program is to improve management of eating disorders, recurrent ear infections, and insufficient sleep in children. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Identify the spectrum of eating disorders in children. 2. Assess evidence on the etiology of eating disorders. 3. Prevent and treat complications of eating disorders. 4. Make evidence-based recommendations about daily physical activity for children and adolescents. 5. Counsel parents about the utility of tympanostomy tube placement and nonpharmacologic interventions to improve sleep duration in children.
