The goal of this program is to improve management of ocular complications associated with Ebola virus disease, patients undergoing placement of light adjustable lenses during cataract surgery, and glaucoma using artificial intelligence. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Identify common long-term ocular complications associated with Ebola virus disease.
2. Implement protocols to improve safety of ocular surgery in patients with a history of Ebola virus disease or COVID-19 disease.
3. Improve visual outcomes of cataract surgery using the light adjustable lens.
4. Evaluate the benefits and limitations of using artificial intelligence in the management of glaucoma.
5. Use less invasive methods for diagnosis of angle closure.
