Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is a demanding procedure requiring high level of expertise. ASGE is providing this training resource for those endoscopists who desire to begin their ESD learning curve by acquiring fundamental ESD knowledge with significant time allocated to practicing skill technique under the direction of ESD experts. Endoscopist s assistants are encouraged to attend, providing the opportunity to train team coordination to gain familiarity with the devices and electrosurgical units, to adequate handle and position the scope and to rehearse the kind of movements typical and crucial to ESD, improving tip control. 1.
