These ubiquitous viruses cause a wide spectrum of diseases with heterogeneous presentations and extensive morbidity and economic impact. This activity outlines the pathologic basis of these diseases and reviews the role of the interprofessional team in evaluating and caring for patients with enteroviral infection.
