Eosinophilic pustular folliculitis (EPF) is a dermatological disease process that may present across the lifespan or in immunosuppressed patients. Although EPF is a benign disease process with no potential for malignant transformation, the chronicity of the disorder paired with intense pruritus may cause significant morbidity for affected patients. There are 3 subtypes of EPF, and the subtype dictates the disease course and treatment recommendations. This activity discusses the evaluation and treatment of eosinophilic pustular folliculitis and highlights the role of the healthcare team in caring for patients with this condition.
