Ethics in Child and Adolescent Decision-Making: The Code of Medical Ethics

Ethics in Child and Adolescent Decision-Making: The Code of Medical Ethics

Decision-making when the patient is a minor is often fundamentally different than when the patient is an adult. This e-learning CME module explores that distinction in order to help physicians learn how to approach these cases effectively. Topics include recognizing how decision-making in these cases differ from those involving adult patients and what nonclinical factors to consider when assessing best interest.
