Evaluating Coronary Artery Disease in the Outpatient Setting - Stress Testing, ECHO, & Cardiac CT

Learning Objectives: Learners will accurately describe the signs and symptoms of patients presenting in the outpatient setting with clinically significant coronary artery disease. Learners will contrast classic CAD symptoms compared to non-classic presentations. Learners will successfully differentiate between multiple modalities available to evaluate for potential CAD. Learners will choose the most appropriate test for their patient for the evaluation of CAD, thus reducing unnecessary tests which may lead to increased expense and potential patient harm. Learners will correctly identify which patients need the various diagnostic tests for the diagnosis of CAD, thereby allowing for more rapid identification and treatment leading to improved outcomes.
