The goal of this program is to improve practices in orthopedic surgery based on current evidence, the use of augmented reality devices for spine surgeries, and the management of neuromoni toring changes during spine surgery. After hearing and assimilat ing this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Evaluate the quality of evidence on best practices for ortho pedic surgery presented in clinical trials. 2. Describe the basic principles and technology behind aug mented reality navigation in spine surgery. 3. Enumerate potential advantages and limitations of aug mented reality-based navigation in spine surgery. 4. Optimize neuromonitoring signals during spine surgery. 5. Interpret the significance of various changes in neuromoni toring signals that can occur during surgery.
