Expanding the Armamentarium with AI & WGS

This three-part webinar series is designed to provide healthcare professionals with essential artificial intelligence (AI) and whole genome sequencing (WGS) skills for infection prevention and control and antibiotic stewardship. Participants will learn AI concepts, such as machine learning and natural language processing, and their applications in predicting outbreaks and optimizing antimicrobial use and infection prevention. This program explores practical tools for integrating AI, strategies for overcoming challenges, and the use of WGS in infection surveillance. Participants will see real-world instances where AI and WGS have enhanced infection control and antibiotic stewardship to showcase how healthcare professionals can collaborate effectively to utilize AI and WGS in improving infection control and antibiotic stewardship efforts.
