The goal of this program is to improve management of urinary incontinence in women and infection risk in the health care environment. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Distinguish among causes of bladder dysfunction. 2. Provide appropriate treatment for stress urinary incontinence. 3. Recommend treatment options for overactive bladder. 4. Identify the main vectors of contamination in health care environments. 5. Assess the efficacy of current cleaning practices for infec tion control in health-care settings.
