The incidence of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is rising in racial and ethnic underserved population continue to drive disparities in outcomes. Individualized treatment strategies are needed, including shared decision-making and a multidisciplinary team approach, to work toward providing equitable care for patients with IBD.
