This 1.0- hour satellite symposium will provide an overview on Gaucher disease (GD) as an autosomal recessive lysosomal disorder caused by mutations in the glucosylceramide beta gene (GBA1). Although Gaucher disease is one of the most widely known of the lysosomal diseases, and treatments are available, there is still so much that needs to be addressed. This satellite session will be offered at WORLDSymposium 2025, and is intended to address the challenges of diagnosing and managing bone disease in individuals with GD.
