The goal of this program is to improve use of teleglaucoma for glau coma screening, surgical management of glaucoma, management of persistent corneal epithelial defects, and management of glaucoma by addressing disparities in care. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to: 1. Evaluate the effectiveness of teleglaucoma for glaucoma screening. 2. Select appropriate surgical approaches depending on severity of glaucoma. 3. Summarize the pathophysiology of ocular surface microenviron ment in the pathogenesis of persistent corneal epithelial defects. 4. Develop strategies for management of persistent corneal epi thelial defects. 5. Address racial, socioeconomic, and educational disparities to improve delivery of glaucoma care.
