The goal of this program is to improve management of gynecologic cancer and use of cell therapy in upper gastrointestinal cancers. After hearing and assimilating this program, the clinician will be better able to:
1. Use pembrolizumab in patients with endometrial cancer treated earlier with platinum-based chemotherapy.
2. Optimize treatment of ovarian cancer with BRCA mutations.
3. Cite evidence of activity with adavosertib in patients with ovarian cancer who fail a poly(adenosine diphosphate-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor.
4. Differentiate between squamous-cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma in metastatic esophageal cancer.
5. Explain outcomes from the CheckMate 577 trial regarding nivolumab.
